The Gift Guides officially start on Wednesday, but I wanted to post this ASAP so – quick and early gift guide!
NB: some links in this and future gift guides include affiliate links which send a portion of your purchase back to us at no extra cost to you. You’re not required to use our links, and thank you in advance if you do.
There is a gift with purchase from now until 11/11 at Lego.com, and y’all.
Y’ALL.
It’s called Books are My Passion.
Look at this.
Books are my Passion, free with $130 purchase until then!
Books Are My Passion is a 285 piece Lego set that’s a free gift with purchase of $130 or more until 11/11. After that, it’ll be $20 or so, I believe.
Important update: per many wise folks in the comments, gift with purchase Legos aren’t sold by Lego after the final date. They’re available through resellers only. So this is likely the only time to get this set from Lego.com. Thank you for that info!
Seriously.
On the Ladder?!
And look – the book on the chair, with turnable pages, starts with “Once upon a time.”
Clearly that is a set for romance readers! (Also, I had that haircut for probably half my life so that’s kind of alarming.)
Now, maybe you need some suggestions to hit that $130 threshold.
How about…
Typewriter Lego Set, 2049 pieces, $249.99
The Typewriter is retiring soon, per the website, and will be difficult to find after that.
There is also the kits in the Botanical collection, which range from $15 to $100, and would make lovely gifts.
And the Art collection has terrific kits, like this image of the Milky Way:
The Milky Way Galaxy, 3091 pieces, $199.99
Then I saw this one, and I said, out loud, “Oh my GOSH.”
Pac-Man Arcade, 2651 pieces, $269.99
This is under the $130 threshold, but you could combine it with some flowers:
LEGO Fender Stratocaster Guitar, 1074 pieces, $119.99
And this is just adorable: Van Gogh painting Starry Night:
Vincent van Gogh – The Starry Night, 2316 pieces, $169.99
That’s so cool, like he’s painting the original scene.
I am waiting to put my Books Are My Passion set together, but once I do, I’ll definitely share pics.
Do you have Lego folks on your gift list this year? Are you a Lego aficionado? What sets are your favorites?
